Wild and Free

A cacophony of colour, the ox-eye daisies, striking blue cornflowers, the crimson poppies all gently dance, carefree, in the morning breeze, tossing their heads to shake the perfect pearls of rain from their shower soaked petals. The soft hum of bees working methodically from flower to flower, bodies laden with dusty pollen, moving on as quickly as they arrived. This small oasis of beauty, sown by man but yet so naturally wild and free.

Lea Park in Lincolnshire is home to this incredibly stunning wild flower meadow which, although only small, when you crouch down and peer across the flower heads, it seems to bloom into eternity. Flowers mingling in harmony with one another savouring every moment of their short lives. So many lessons for mankind.
